O God, the author of all virtues, by whose gift thy blessed Abbot Benedict Biscop chose the heavenly vision before the fleeting glories of this world: Grant that we may learn by his example to despise the things of earth and to seek after the things which are eternal; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
