¶ Or this:
Accept, O Lord, our thanksgiving for thy servant Anselm, who in his life bore faithful witness to the truth; and humbly we beseech thee to raise up in every generation wise and holy teachers able to bring forth out of their treasure things both old and new: in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
¶ Or this:
O God, eternal and only–wise, who didst choose Saint Anselm to be a chief doctor and interpreter of the apostolic faith: Send down thy Holy Spirit upon they people, that they may seek so to learn Christ as ever to be found in him; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
Hi, I am simply an observer. I want to let you know that I have been contacted by a member of your church who shall not be named. Over this past time, I have consistently had conversations regarding their faith, and while I know their values, I see myself as someone who wishes to be involved with others. And throughout their grief, I have noticed that when I checked out the faith related discussions, that I could not understand it. You see, I go based on english. And whenever I attempt to read a post on here I am having a very hard time understanding because the word phrasing is completely different than what I am used to myself. And, while I have not been able to use these teachings, I have been able to use the contrast of what I know in my own study of Christianity through my church to at least comprehend some of it. What I would like to know is how I can be able to read these findings and learn the lessons behind what you are teaching if I cannot understand it? I look forward to your response.
