Well, it wasn’t quite like that the whole time. Parishioner Fiodor (“Fedya”) Strikovski had spent much of a week working on this wonderful renovation of the Joyce Holmes Courtyard Garden. When it came to the last bit of work on Friday morning, he did final work in the parking lot so as not to disturb the service going on in the church.
Here are some pictures of Fedya’s wonderful work on the Garden. Previously, there had been some drainage problems in the courtyard, but a couple of summer deluges have demonstrated that Fedya’s handiwork has solved all the problems.
