Felix Dies Bissextum! Happy Leap Day!

“What?” you’re thinking to yourself, “Leap Day isn’t until the 29th.”

Not according to the Kalendar, which follows the guidelines set forth by Julius Caesar. The ancient Romans had this odd procedure of numbering days by counting backwards from certain landmark days in the month, viz., the Kalends, the Ides, and the Nones.

Sung Eucharist starts at 9:00 AM on Sunday!

Just a gentle reminder: Next Sunday, The First Sunday in Lent (that is, February 26th), the Sung Eucharist will begin at at 9:00 AM instead of 9:15 AM. The idea is that is will make life easier for the clergy, leave more time for adult education, and give the choir tad more rehearsal time.
