The Choir of Men and Boys presents a traditional Festival of Lessons and Carols for Epiphany, a charity event in aid of the Christ Child Society of Baltimore. Through scripture readings, carols and hymns, the service celebrates the joy of Christmastide and the revelation of Jesus to humanity.
Music will include Peter Warlock’s “Bethlehem Down”, Victoria’s “O magnum mysterium”, and Geoffrey Burgon’s “Nunc dimittis” (featured in the 1979 TV series “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy”. For the complete program, see music.ststeve.com.
Visitors of all faiths are always heartily welcomed to join us in prayer, and all are invited to remain for a light reception following the service. Admission is free of charge, however a freewill offering will be received in aid of the choir’s charity, the Christ Child Society of Baltimore.
