You may recall a recent post in which the Rector was soliciting comments on changing the time of the 11:15 AM service back to its original time of 11:00 AM. Well, the decision has been made, in fact, to adjust the time of the service, beginning on Lent I, Sunday, March 9th.
As luck would have it, this is also the Sunday that we roll our clocks forward an hour for Daylight Saving Time. To be clear, this is the Sunday that we lose an hour. So if you normally attend the late service on Sunday, not only will you have to show up 15 minutes earlier, you’ll have to show up an extra hour earlier on top of that. (Well, you’ll need to show up an hour “earlier” no matter which service you attend, but at the 11:00 AM service, you don’t have the safety net of sticking around for the next service.)
