This evening’s Evensong for All Saints was a rousing success. The Gentlemen of the Choir sang an arrangement by the Choirmaster of Bainton’s And I Saw A New Heaven, and Canticles by Sumsion, with Preces and Responses after Byrd’s Mass for Three Voices. Isaac was appropriately attired for the occasion. The post-Evensong was a rousing success, with a variety of hot and cold hors d’oeuvre, and some spectacular desserts.
The Choir’s next service will be Advent Lessons & Carols on Sunday, December 2nd, at 6:00 PM.
