    Just returned from having a splendid lunch with our church ladies, there were nine of us today, all sat at table at Joey Chiu’s enjoying company and excellent food, as well as celebrating Helen Bloomier’s birthday.
    The beauty of this group is that it gives us an opportunity to get to know one another especially as more often than not all three of the Sunday’s services were represented.
    Next month they will be back to their regular Wednesday spot, and the venue is likely to be at the Peppermill on York Rd.
    Our thanks go out to Joyce Perlberg who made all the arrangements.
