For Them that Travel through Space
Written to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the first landing on the Moon, on July 20th, 1969, and the first moon walk on July 21st, 1969.
Almighty God, Father of all mankind, who didst walk before Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden: Be thou our constant guide and protector as we tread upon distant worlds and the high places of the universe; and as we travel far from this small, blue planet, keep thy Word always in our hearts, that we may never stray from thee and thy loving-kindness; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom with thee and the Holy Ghost be all honour and glory, world without end. Amen.
