We need lots of greens for table arrangements

To create our 40 greens arrangements to sell at Cookie Walk, we need a large amount of a variety of greens. Since our Cookie Walk date of the first Saturday in December comes so early this year, we don’t have the benefit of collecting “scrap” greens from Christmas tree sale lots.

Your help is needed! Please clip greens from your yard or grounds (anything but holly which does not last) and leave on the lawn by the back church steps no later than Monday, November 26th. That is only one week away!

If you need your greens cut or picked up, reply to this e-mail or leave a message, with your street address. for Bill Spicer at 410-377-7184 to be added to the pick-up list. The pick-up date is Saturday, November 24th

By the way, we still need volunteers! And, below, there is the Cookie Walk at a glance:

  • Nov 16 to Nov 25: Bring in greens
  • Nov 25 to Dec 1: Bake and bring in cookies
  • Nov 25: Parish Hall set up (9:00 – 11:00); start wreaths
  • Nov 26: Wreaths and arrangements workshop (9:00 – 4:00)
  • Nov 27: Clean up/Decorating Parish Hall (9:00 – 2:00)
  • Nov 28: Decorating church (9:00 – 2:00) – Lunch served
  • Nov 29: Organize cookies/Finishing touches (9:00 – Noon)
  • Nov 30: ALL HANDS ON DECK!
