Saint Mary and Saint Martha of Bethany

Merciful Saviour, who didst love Mary, and Martha, and Lazarus, blessing their home with thy sacred presence: Help us, we beseech thee, to choose that better part which shall not be taken away from us, that we may grow in grace and in the knowledge and love of thee, who, with the Father and the Holy Ghost, livest and reignest, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

O God, heavenly Father, whose Son Jesus Christ enjoyed rest and refreshment in the home of Mary and Martha of Bethany: Give us the will to love thee, open our hearts to hear thee, and strengthen our hands to serve thee in others for his sake; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
