Most gracious God, who didst glorify the Church by the life and labours of thy holy Bishop Saint Swithun: Send down, we beseech thee, showers of blessing upon thy people, that they may grow in grace, and in the knowledge and love of thee, and of thy Son Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.
