The items for St Stephen's 2012 Cookie Walk Silent Auction stretch the length of the hallway and around into the lobby.
Who can resist the comfort of hand-knitted gloves or scarves? The Knitting Circle has been meeting weekly all year long, making blankets, prayer shawls, and so forth, for guests at Joseph Richey Hospice and Dr Bob’s Place, and for returning veterans. And in their spare time, they’ve been setting aside articles for you—that’s right, you! Which you can bid on during the 2012 Cookie Walk Silent auction.
You can browse through the photos here, or come to Church and see them in person. The Silent Auction runs through the end of the Cookie Walk this Saturday (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM). You’ll have to keep an eye on the clip boards, though, because someone may come by after you and outbid you.
See you at the Cookie Walk!
The Knitting Circle have outdone themselves this year, with knitted goods stretching the length of the hall alongside the courtyard and wrapping around into the lobby. Proceeds benefit the Joseph Richey Hospice and Dr Bob's Place.
