The Festival of Lessons & Carols for Epiphany is the parish’s annual charity event in aid of Dr Bob’s Place, a hospice for dying children. Through scripture readings, carols and hymns, the service celebrates the joy of Christmastide and the revelation of Jesus to humanity.

This year’s service will include the following repertory:
· Palestrina:  Matin & Vesper Responsories
· Byrd:  Ecce advenit
· Warlock:  Balulalow
· Hopkins:  Three Kings of Orient
· S. S. Wesley:  Nunc dimittis
· The German ‘Echo Carol’ (Benedicamus Domino)
· Carol and hymn arrangements by Vaughan Williams, Willcocks, & others.

The Carol Service begins at 6.00 PM and ordinarily lasts about 60 minutes. Visitors of all faiths are always heartily welcomed to join us in worship, and all are invited to remain for a reception following the service. Admission is free of charge, however a freewill offering will be received to benefit Dr Bob’s Place.
