Scripture Verses

The Scripture Verses which appear on the left side of our web pages are not random quotations, or selections from someone’s chapbook of favorite verses. St Stephen’s is a “parish in the classical Anglican tradition”, which means that, liturgically, we hold the Prayer Book in high regard. So the Scripture Verses which appear randomly in the box on the left are selected from those which are featured prominently in various services in the Prayer Book. For convenience, they are all listed here.
