Daylight Saving Time Sunday

Almight God, Father of mercies and giver of all comfort: Deal graciously, we pray thee, with all those who mourn the loss of an hour and dread the earlier coming of thy most bright and glorious morning light; that, casting every care on thee, they may know the consolation of thy love and tender mercies in thy precious gifts of coffee, tea, and cola; that they, having hope to rise from the bed may look for the resurrection of the dead; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Daylight Saving Time currently begins, for most of the United States, on the second Sunday in March. This collect was written by Kevin Robertson, a friend of one of the priests at St Stephen’s, and posted to Mr Robertson’s Facebook page. Used with permission.
