    We know that Jesus could read Hebrew because he read from Isaiah in the Synagogue, however it is generally accepted that he did not speak it except in occasional phrases, but used Aramaic, then the language in use in the area. “Hebrew speaking Jewish Synagogues” may have existed, but in Palestine Hebrew would be read and studied, but Aramaic would be used for ordinary conversation. Modern English people, although Celtic in origin, do not normally use Breizenhog. Yaa maat, Cheers.
