At the Parish Life Committee meeting on January 8th, new co-chairs Priscilla and Dick Huffman mapped out a busy year once again for the committee’s fellowship and fundraising efforts.
The first event, the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, is just around the corner on February 12th, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The price of admission is just $5 per adult and $2.50 for each for the first two children—any additional children are free! It’s been this way for 22 years now. How’s that for beating inflation!
Highlights for the coming year include the Lenten Suppers beginning on February 20th, the Garden Party on May 4th, Silly Summer Suppers running from June 20th through September 19th, a fall church picnic at Ellen Reather’s home on September 8th, and the Cookie Walk on December 7th.
The Parish Life Committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month beginning at 7 pm. Please join us to be part of the planning and organization of these and other events.
